Université PSL is launching a call for applications for a Junior Professor Chair in Economics, titled "Economics, Information, Data, AI", based at the LEDa, Université Paris Dauphine-PSL, Université Paris Sciences et Lettres.
This is a tenure track position with a reduced teaching load leading to a full professor position at LEDa, Université Paris Dauphine-PSL https://leda.dauphine.fr/
The position may start at a mutually agreed date from January 2027 on. The contract must be signed by the end of December 2026.
The position is open to all researchers wishing to develop their work in economics, with a focus on information, data, and AI. This work may be theoretical, or empirical in areas where the scarcity of traditional economic data makes innovative data construction particularly valuable (developing countries, history, experimentation, etc.). The position includes internationally competitive salary and start-up package.

LEDa’s research is oriented toward decision-making support and addresses major societal challenges, including health and aging, development and mobility, trade and history, macroeconomic policies, environment and climate, finance. It intertwines with theoretical work focusing on microeconomic foundations, welfare economics, market structures, and risk.
LEDa has 142 members: 63 university faculty, 13 researchers from IRD and CNRS, 60 PhD students, and an administrative team of 6.
