PSL is looking for a teacher in data sciences for its undergraduate programs (“CPES Multidisciplinary Undergraduate degree” and “Sustainability sciences”).
The teaching will be targeting first to third year undergraduate students.

Teaching mission
Service de la formation
- Build and implement courses in artificial intelligence and data science, including interdisciplinary projects;
- Teaching courses and tutorials;
- Evaluating students' knowledge;
- Following students’ development individually;
- Contributing to various pedagogical activities (student recruitment and evaluation, following student internships and supervising their theses, contributing to juries, etc.);
- Working on the prefiguration of the "Data Science and Culture" CPES track in partnership with Lycée Louis-le-Grand.
NB: The person recruited must be able to work and teach in either French or English.
Subjects taught:
- Introductory courses in quantitative methods for the humanities and social sciences (simple descriptive statistics, inference);
- Tutorials on R, Python and quantitative data production;
- Supervision of student research projects;
- Tutorials on digital tools for the humanities and social sciences;
- Interdisciplinary projects.
Additional teaching activities:
- Individual student mentoring;
- Development and supervision of multidisciplinary projects.
Job conditions :
Yearly teaching load: 384 hours (tutorials or equivalent / “TD ou HeqTD”), which include additional teaching activities
